Asit Kumar Mal of the All India Trinamool Congress Party (AITC) was declared the winner of the Bolpur constituency of West Bengal by securing a total vote of 855633 by defeating BJP candidate Piya Saha in West Bengal by 327253 votes.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Trinamool Congress candidate Asit Kumar Mal won the elections by 106403 votes.
