In Banka Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Giridhari Yadav of the Janata Dal (United) is declared the winner, securing 506678 votes and surpassing Jai Prakash Narayan Yadav of the Rashtriya Janata Dal by 103844 votes.

Banka is a district and Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar, bordering the Godda district of Jharkhand to the east and south. It is a significant commercial center and the tenth-largest city in the state.

 

In the 2019 elections, Banka saw a voter turnout of 58%. Giridhari Yadav of the JDU won the seat with 4,77,788 votes, followed by RJD's Jay Prakash Narayan with 2,77,256 votes, and independent candidate Putul Kumari, who received 1,03,729 votes.
