Singer, actor, and former Kolkata Police officer Prashant Tamang passed away on Sunday. He was found dead at his residence in New Delhi. The exact cause of his death is yet to be revealed.

Indian Idol 3 winner and web series actor Prashant Tamang has passed away. This famous singer has lost his life at the age of 43. Prashant was found dead at his residence in New Delhi on Sunday. 

According to preliminary reports, he died of cardiac arrest. Director Rajesh Ghatani has confirmed the news of Prashant's death. He was immediately admitted to the hospital after he was found dead in the house. 

Yesterday, on January 11, 2026, Prashant was declared dead at Dwarka Hospital in New Delhi. 

Prashant had also served in the Kolkata Police force. Similarly, he also appeared in the lead role in many Nepali films. He recently played an important role in the second season of 'Paatal Lok.'
