Sources close to the production have disclosed that 'Border 2' aims to revisit the intense saga of Longewala, offering viewers a comprehensive insight into the heroic deeds of all three wings of the Indian Armed Forces. "Border 2 is not going to be a sequel but instead it is a story that took place the same night of Border's events. The battle of Longewala was fought not just by our Indian army but the Navy and the Air Force was also involved, and the story of Border 2 will recap events from the perspectives of all three wings of the Indian Armed Forces," shared a trusted insider.

 

In an exciting update, it has been revealed that Bhushan Kumar and JP Dutta, the minds behind the original masterpiece, are in advanced discussions with acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Singh to helm the directorial responsibilities for 'Border 2'. Singh, known for his spectacular work on grand war dramas like 'Kesari', brings a wealth of experience in portraying historical events with cinematic finesse.
