This extensive six-lane expressway spans 594 kilometers from Meerut to Prayagraj, with the potential for future expansion to eight lanes.
What economic benefits are anticipated from the Ganga Expressway?
The Ganga Expressway is expected to significantly impact Uttar Pradesh's economy by decreasing logistics expenses and improving industrial competitiveness. The goal is to reduce logistics costs from 14% of GDP to a range of 8-10%, which aligns with international benchmarks. Additionally, the expressway is designed to promote the development of Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Clusters (IMLCs) along its path, which will create numerous job opportunities and invigorate local economies in the 12 districts it connects.
