Muhammad Yunus is a Bangladeshi economist, entrepreneur, and civil society activist who has held the position of Chief Adviser to the interim government of Bangladesh since 8 August 2024. Yunus received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006, becoming the inaugural laureate from Bangladesh. He established Grameen Bank. He was born on June 28, 1940.
