Indian-Origin 'Guru' Sued For Millions Over Sex Assault Allegations In UK

Rajinder Kalia, a leader of a religious society in England, is facing a lawsuit in the London High Court. Multiple former female followers, all of Indian descent, accuse him of sexual assault. The claimants allege Kalia abused his position and teachings to exert undue influence, leading to the assaults. The ongoing trial seeks millions in damages.

Indian-Origin Guru Faces Sexual Assault Lawsuit in UK

 

A London High Court trial is currently underway for Rajinder Kalia, a self-proclaimed religious leader of Indian origin. The 68-year-old faces accusations of sexual assault from multiple women who were formerly his disciples. 

 

The claimants, all of Indian descent, allege that Kalia misused his position and influence to manipulate their actions. They claim he used sermons, religious teachings, and even purported miracles to exert undue control over them, ultimately leading to the alleged assaults.

 

This lawsuit is seeking millions of pounds in compensation. It's important to note that the trial is ongoing, and no verdict has been reached.
