Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge has sharply criticized the BJP government, alleging that it is resorting to “drama” to deflect public attention from its repeated policy failures.
Speaking at a public rally, Kharg ine said that while the country is grappling with economic hardships, unemployment, and social unrest, the ruling party is more focused on theatrics than governance.
Kharge also pointed out that core public welfare issues remain unaddressed, and instead, the government invests in headline-grabbing announcements and emotional spectacles. He urged citizens to recognize these tactics as distractions, calling for a shift back to accountable governance.
This isn’t the first time the Congress leadership has accused the BJP of diverting public discourse. With elections on the horizon, the political atmosphere remains charged, and accusations like these are expected to shape public opinion significantly. Kharge's remarks may be a strategic move to position the Congress as a party focused on “real issu
es.”
