Election Commission of India firmly denies Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of vote theft, assuring citizens that the electoral process remains transparent, secure, and fair.
The Commission clarified that no irregularities were found during the recent elections, and all claims of manipulation are baseless.
In response to Rahul Gandhi’s accusations, the ECI highlighted the robustness of India’s electoral system, which includes electronic voting machines (EVMs) with Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT), strict security protocols, and cross-verification procedures. Officials also mentioned that international observers and independent agencies have consistently validated the credibility of the Indian voting system.
The ECI urged political leaders to refrain from making unverified statements that could undermine public trust in democracy. The Commission further reassured voters that it remains committed to protecting every citizen’s right to vote and maintaining the integrity of India’s democratic framework.
